  Kholoane Development Corporation is positioned to facilitate and exceed client’s service delivery level, within a building   and civil engineering environments through the following disciplines

 -Skills transfer and mentorship of emerging businesses in the construction industry.

KDC disciplines forming a one-stop project approach are briefly elaborated as follows

Development Facilitation: (DF) – initiate and manage programmes to promote the private sector’s increased engagement in the housing and community development market. Facilitate, coordinate and align economic developmental strategies of municipalities through the integrated development plan

Civil and Building Design: (CBD) – provide design services in civil works (i.e. roads, water and sewer reticulation) and structural works (i.e. building and civil structures) with all the ultimate objective of providing site supervision and certification. EPWP on labour intensive project delivery could also be catered for in the design of infrastructure and building.

Programme & Project Management: (PPM) – apply best practices in terms of PMBOK principles, which include project planning, scheduling and controlling resources. Various aspects of general business and human factor administration are considered, hence the inclusion of social psychology such as leadership, teamwork, communication skills, conflict management, negotiation and statesmanship are not a surprise package. All these factors revolve around the ensuring success delivery of a project within scope, time and cost.

Construction Management: (CM) – on site management and skills transfer to emerging and local contractors; Quality control with its related risks are well managed on available resources within set criteria.

Healthcare and Clinical Administration Assessment: (HCAA) – assessing clinical and medical operations, provide capacitation and expertise in the field of healthcare equipment, resource allocation and general hospital management services.;

Financial Management: (FM)  - Cost control and budgeting, balancing of received and expenditure are well managed within the South African Statements of Generally Accepted Accounting Practice and in a manner required by the Companies Act, 61 of 1973 in South Africa. The auditing shall be planned and conducted in accordance with the South African Auditing Standards issued by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. This service is currently outsourced.

Labour and Business Management Services: (LBMS) – business, labour and contractor’s competency analysis and mentorship. Skills transfer and entrenchment of good leadership values that would be placed beyond the notion of good governance and best practices.Provide human resource services augmented by staff development programme and competency assessment;

Project Audit (PA): – risk analysis in terms of finance, human resource, communication, scope change, time, health and Safety, environment, construction materials and methodology, implementation management systems, construction methodology, etc.

Property Management: (PM) – systems development, monitoring and evaluation, designed specifically for housing stock.
